The lowest price I've ever seen for a valid, most current may update at a Toyota dealership was $126.75 not including sales tax. Last time I checked the retail price of a map update was $169. If the price is too good to be true then it is probably a scam. I've seen countless reports of people getting scammed from buying map updates on eBay and even on Amazon which I thought had tighter controls on sellers. The only reliable place to get map updates is from a Toyota dealership. Toyota navigation systems for Europe cannot use the same map updates as the navigation systems for North America.

Is Garmin now involved in providing map updates for North America as they have in Europe? In Europe an owner can download map updates to an SD card but I wasn't aware that has become possible in North America. I don't understand why you are bringing up Garmin. Map update part number and media type can vary different depending on the Entune version. Aren't all Entune system updates now done "over the air"? Google Send to Car is a PIA to set up and the Audi Connect manual has it all wrong. To make it worse, my dealership's "tech expert" knew next to nothing and so I ended up spending quite a bit of time with Audi's tech support via online chat. If you don't care about the Google Earth function, there's nothing that's interesting that isn't easier to just do with your smart phone connected via Bluetooth. I just spent about three hours getting my Audi Connect services set up and I'm really blown away.
